It’s almost hard to believe, but the MIAA boys basketball regular season is winding down. That means seniors around the state are entering the final stretch of their careers.
And judging by last week’s performances, it seems that several of them are looking to finish their careers on a high note. Four of this edition’s 5 Stars of the Week feature seniors who had huge weeks, including Methuen’s Nethaniel Clemente.

Let’s reveal this week’s 5 Stars, from games played Feb. 3-9.
Owen Boudria, Westport
Class of 2025 guard
Boudria, who became a 1,000-point scorer as a junior at Westport, has continued to put up big scoring performances as a senior. He had 32 points, seven rebounds, four steals and three blocks in a win over Atlantis Charter before posting 40 points and 11 rebounds in a narrow win over Southeastern. Westport is now 11-6 this season and were ranked No. 11 in the MIAA’s last Div. 5 power rankings update.
Nethaniel Clemente, Methuen
Class of 2025, 6-4 forward
Clemente has been dominant for Methuen over the last several weeks, and he had his best week yet leading the Rangers to two victories. He had 28 points, 16 rebounds and three rebounds in a victory over Haverhill and then 35 points, 18 rebounds and three blocks in a senior night win over Lawrence.
Cole Craffey, Oliver Ames
Class of 2025, 6-2 guard
Craffey, who returned to Oliver Ames after one season at Brimmer & May, has been one of the Tigers’ most consistent players this season. He led them to three wins last week, which included 24 points and five assists against Abington before scoring 25 points on Friday against Canton. Oliver Ames, which has won eight consecutive games, is now 16-4 this season and leads the Davenport division of the Hockomock League with an 11-3 mark.
Jack Millward, Wakefield
Class of 2026, 6-4 guard
Millward has already had a couple of 40-point games this season. He went to the next level last Wednesday, when he scored 51 points to lead Wakefield to a thrilling 98-89 triple overtime victory over Salem.
Kobe Nguyen, North Quincy
Class of 2025, 6-0 guard
North Quincy’s star freshman duo of Aidan McGrath and Lucas Short have created most of the attention for the Raiders this season, but Nguyen has been steady for them all season. The four-year starter and senior captain went off for a career-high 34 points, including eight 3-pointers, in a victory over Madison Park. He also had 22 points and 19 points, respectively, in wins over Plymouth South and Silver Lake for a 3-0 week. A season after North Quincy went 6-14, the Raiders are now 16-2.
Other notable performances: Central Catholic junior Javi Lopez scored 25 points in a win over Chelmsford to break 1,000 points for his career. … Senior Brendan McDonald had a triple-double of 14 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists to lead Somerset Berkley over Old Rochester. … Whitman-Hanson senior Dylan Perrault had 28 points with 12 rebounds to lead the 15-2 Panthers over Scituate. … Ayer Shirley senior Zach Iannacone scored his 1,000th career point and finished with 26 points to lead the 17-1 Panthers over Nantucket.
