MILTON, Mass. — A new prep season getting underway means new young names jumping onto our radars.
The Girls Hoop Series Season Tip-Off at Milton Academy gave 20 teams an opportunity to highlight some of their top underclassmen talent to open the December run of showcases. Several standouts were brand-new faces to me, which made it exciting to log observations and add players to keep track of going forward.
I did my best to watch all 10 games, but with two often going on at once, I definitely missed some good action at times. But Sunday was (mostly) a competitive slate that gave me plenty of meaningful takeaways.
