NEPSAC Class A fields some of the oldest prep schools in New England and the entire country.
But on the basketball court, the power dynamics shifted this year. Though Loomis Chaffee remains strong, Sacred Heart claimed its first-ever Class A championship. We also saw young rosters challenge the best teams and advance into the playoffs.
Our All-NEPSAC awards include a Player of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, and two All-NEPSAC teams for classes AAA through B Small. I've consulted with opposing coaches, collected stats and looked at production and winning impact from the winter season to make our selections.
